Summer Tires Grip the Roads

Your tires are one of the most important safety features of your vehicle. They make sure you can maintain traction with the road surface, enhancing handling during acceleration and braking.

In the spring and summer months, you need a tire that can withstand hot temperatures as well as rainy conditions. Summer tires are made out of a tread compound that includes sticky additives and has been designed for wet roads. That tread compound is relatively stiff, so it can keep its shape even when the roads are blazing hot. Summer tires are called performance tires for a reason, as their shallower grooves allow the tires to maximize contact with the asphalt.
